We work with the local community to reduce fabric waste by taking any unwanted curtains, duvet covers, clothes, etc. We collect the fabric and evaluate its texture and condition, we then throughly clean it and begin to design ideas for its use! We have made scrunchies out of leggings, pillow cases out of curtains, and tote bags our of bed sheets, and we hope to do much more!
However, working this way means that most of our fabrics are limited supply, so we recommend following our social media to get the latest updates on our new stock!
We are also available for custom items, perhaps you'd like a custom made tote bag with your name on it? Or a cushion for your friends birthday? We would love to help you! If you're interested please contact us via the contact page or our social media for a consultation or any queries.

Welcome to Personal Threads Fabric Studio!
This small business was founded in Surrey 2020 by Holly Probert. At Personal Threads we pride ourselves on our mission to reuse and refashion preloved fabrics into something new and wonderful!
This business was founded from our passion for fabrics, and after seeing the amount of fabric going to waste, we wanted to do something about it.
Holly's love for fabric and textiles began when she began to study GCSE's in 2012. Since then she has gone on to create cosplay's for herself and others, including Belle's signature ball gown from beauty and the beast, and various anime characters. She also continued working with fabric during her degree at UCA, focusing on costume and set design.
Now she has decided to try and make a business out of what she loves, so please support us on working to create beautiful products!
